Technology
We help people be more connected and more mobile with less environmental impact.
Our strategy is to ensure that our new products consume less energy than earlier models, contain environmentally preferred materials and can be easily recycled. We collect electronic equipment for reuse and recycling through our global take-back programs and are designing products to be compatible with universal chargers, helping to reduce electronics waste.
While helping our consumers reduce their environmental footprints, we continue to reduce our own impacts. All our manufacturing sites are certified to the international standards ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, and our rigorous environment, health and safety management system ensures that we meet our commitment to reduce our own footprint. We continue to increase our purchase of renewable energy.
As stated in our vision, we have set targets to reduce emissions from our operations and conserve natural resources. These include goals to reduce energy use and continuing to implement our climate change strategy.
