EHS Policy
Motorola Mobility is committed to conducting business globally in a manner consistent with our corporate responsibility business principles and our code of business conduct. In our facilities and operations, Motorola Mobility aims to minimize environmental impact. Our Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) management system sets targets and drives continuous improvement in safety, pollution prevention and resource conservation throughout the design, manufacturing and distribution of our products.
To achieve this, we:
- Meet or exceed all applicable environment, health and safety legal requirements, and other requirements to which we subscribe in the countries where we do business
- Work with our employees to maintain a healthy and safe workplace
- Proactively reduce occupational injury and illness risks, and promote employee health and well-being
- Establish sound EHS objectives and targets
- Provide transparent EHS reports to stakeholders
- Endeavor to design and manufacture our products for sustainable use of the earth's resources and to minimize our carbon footprint
- Require suppliers to operate consistently with our Supplier Code of Conduct and all applicable EHS policies
- Continuously evaluate EHS performance
- Report progress and key issues to senior leaders and relevant stakeholders
